Students will need:
Sewing machine set up for freemotion quilting. This includes a FMQ hopping foot, ability to lower the feed dogs, sewing extension table, all cords, thread to lightly contrast with fabric, bobbins, sewing snips.
Additionally, a fabric marking utensil, snips, sketchbook and pen/pencil
Finally, please bring prepared quilting sandwiches to include top/batting/backing that are pre basted. Do not plan on spray basting in class. I recommend bringing the equivalent of one yard x WOF fabric (top surface area with matching backing) PER CLASS. This total yard of quilting surface area can be broken into smaller pieces for ease of practice quilting, so long as each student has around that much fabric. As an example, this can be broken into 2 fat half yards (22 x 36).
